Lead Wherever You Are: Becoming a Personal Leader (C1) is the first in a series of leadership courses intended to develop leadership skills and professionalism in physical therapists. The evidence shows that leadership can be developed. Developing leadership skills is an integral part of professional development and develops professionalism in physical therapist practice. C1 is specifically intended for new professionals, physical therapists who have been practicing for approximately five years since graduation, however, all professionals are encouraged to attend. The conference emphasizes the development of new leadership behaviors, behaviors that foster autonomous practice, accountability, professional values, diversity, and ethics. Participants are required to complete a leadership self-assessment and other preparatory work prior to the start of the conference. See more details about this conference on the LAMP page of this website.
September 10-12, 2010, Los Angeles, California
