Advertising Policies
HPA reserves the right to reject, cancel and/or remove any advertisement from its publications, including its website, at any time, for any reason, and will notify the customer and provide an explanation to the customer following such action.

Advertisements are accepted when they conform to the ethical standards of the APTA. HPA does not verify the accuracy of claims made in advertisements, and publication of an ad does not imply endorsement of HPA or pta. Acceptance of ads for professional development courses addressing advanced – level competencies in clinical specialty areas does not imply review or endorsement by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

Payment and an advertising insertion order must accompany or precede your artwork.

Disclaimer – Physician Owned Practices
Because the APTA has a policy against arrangements under which sources of referral (including physicians) stand to profit from referring patients for physical therapy, the Home Health Section does not accept job listings for positions in a practice if any physician has a financial interest in the practice and refers patients to an employed physical therapist or to a physical therapist who supervises an employed physical therapist assistant. To complete your submission, you must sign and date the Advertising Insertion Order, confirming that the advertiser does not operate in a referral-for-profit environment.

Material Submission
Your advertisement, sized to fit the Section format, may be submitted in an e-mail attachment in high-resolution PDF format only. Files should be distilled with the Press Optimized setting in Acrobat Distiller. Images should be of adequate quality to allow output at 2,540 dpi and 150 lpi screens. BLACK and WHITE or GRAYSCALE only. If you do not receive an acknowledgment of receipt of your advertisement within 48 hours, please call to confirm receipt. Payment and a completed insertion order must either accompany or precede artwork.

Disposition of Materials
Artwork will be held for 60 days from the date of the last advertising insertion and then destroyed unless requested for repeating advertisements.

Where to Send
Submit artwork by e-mail to HPA's Executive Director. Additional instructions are provided on the Advertising Rates & Order Form.

Event Sponsorship Information

Sponsorship opportunities are available to vendors and service companies at HPA events. Most of these opportunities are related to Combined Sections Meeting (CSM), which is the annual conference at which the HPA presents educational programming. CSM is sponsored by the American Physical Therapy Association in conjunction with its 18 specialty sections, drawing more than 7,000 physical therapy professionals from around the country. Details on CSM sponsorship levels.

The Sponsorship Agreement Form may be used for CSM, as well as other HPA events.

HPA also accepts sponsors for other HPA-sponsored events, such as the LAMP conference and audio conferences. For more information about these opportunities, contact the HPA Executive Director.
