As health care professionals, physical therapists play an integral role in achieving the “quadruple aim” as defined as: improving the patient care experience, outcomes, cost effectiveness and provider satisfaction. In order to be successful in achieving the quadruple aim, physical therapists require the skills needed to identify areas of growth and opportunity and as well as tools to maximize improvement results. The purpose of this webinar is to provide physical therapists with a broad overview of quality improvement, including discussions on project management, sustainability and spread. A systematic framework that advances the quality of care we provide to our patients will be introduced. The improvement framework for this webinar will focus on the Model for Improvement. Physical therapy examples will be provided to support discussion points
