Join HPA The Catalyst for a webinar titled "Rehabilitation 2030: A Call for Action - What Does It Mean for PTs Interested in Global Health”. Our presenters are Jennifer Audette, PT, PhD, Lori Baxter, PT, DPT, MPH, Alarcos Cieza MSc, MPH, PhD, and April Gamble PT, DPT, will be discussing what it means for physical therapists interested in global health and service-learning. 

Educational Objectives:

1. Recognize that there are differences in the PT practices in industrialized vs. less developed countries
2. Understand the relationship between epidemiology and rehabilitation needs
3. Define the WHO’s publications/work relevant to physical therapy
4. Understand why there is a need for a WHO Call for Global Action in Rehabilitation
5. Explain three of the main points included in WHO’s "Rehabilitation 2030: Call for Action" 
6. Apply Rehabilitation 2030 concepts to service-learning projects, volunteerism, and work experiences in resource-limited settings.
