| The Section on Health Policy & Administration includes
two Special Interest Groups (SIG), the Cross-Cultural &
International SIG and the Technology SIG. There are no additional
dues for membership in either of the SIGs, but you do have to
be a member of the Section on Health Policy & Administration.
Each SIG sponsors programming through the Section at APTA’s
Combined Sections Meeting (CSM). They also contribute articles
to the Section’s newsletter, HPA Resource, post relevant
information to the Section listserv, and occasionally publish
their own resource directories.
If you’d like to join a SIG, please simply e-mail your
request to the Section
office and include your APTA membership number and name.
Please keep in mind that the SIGs do not publish their own
newsletters, but membership in the SIG does allow you to vote
in SIG elections and ensures that you’ll receive any
special documents or correspondence of interest to SIG members.
