Item Description:
A healthy, productive workforce is directly related to bottom-line organizational results. In healthcare, attention to attracting, developing, and retaining this workforce is vital since the bottom line not only translates into dollars but, more importantly, impacts the quality of people’s lives. Sadly, the healthcare industry has one of the most tumultuous relationships with its workforce resulting in higher rates of turnover than ever before. Although some factors that contribute to turnover are not under the control of managers, many interventions can still be implemented to address the problem. This seminar will provide answers to many important questions about recruitment and retention in health care, such as:
Are there strategies that have been identified through research as best practice? Which interventions work best for which professionals? What tools and resources exist to ensure the most successful recruitment and retention program?
Whether you are a therapist, nurse, or human resource director, the information presented in this two hour audio conference will provide you with the most up-to-date statistics, research, and resources related to best practices for recruitment and retention in healthcare. It will then assist you in applying the available research results to some of today’s most sought after healthcare professions, including physical therapists and nurses, as well as provide you with an opportunity to ask questions about research relevant to your particular setting.
All organizations valuing great healthcare professionals will benefit from the most current, research supported, information and the resources needed to recruit and retain the best professionals. Know that you’re on the cutting edge of what the research has to offer by participating in this seminar.
